On March 13th, 28 students in Dr. David Ashley and Dr. Mill’s Bio 220 – Natural History of Belize, will journey to Belize to experience first-hand the wonders of this Central American jewel.
During the trip, we will explore mainland locations such as the Mayan ruins at Xunantunich, a butterfly farm and subtropical rainforests. We’ll also experience the diversity of island habitats from the coral reefs and turtle grass beds to the mangroves lagoons and Hol Chan Marine Preserve.
This blog will be our digital journal. We will post daily photos and reports of our endeavors. Join us as we explore the world of Belize.
